Engaging the investor community

After its public market debut, a leading media technology company sought to further engage the investor community via the media landscape and build a reputation for the company as an attractive investment option.

Objective

Establish a growth and value narrative around the company’s performance within investor-focused and general business media outlets.

A media technology company that successfully IPO’d was looking to build their relationship with financial press. Having established a reputation in their respective trade press, they struggled with maintaining financial coverage of the company post-IPO.

The firm engaged ERPR to build a favorable investment profile within media that serve both institutional and retail investor audiences.

Strategy

Building a strong market reputation requires both solid company performance as well as strong leadership. To achieve consistent and continued coverage of the company stock, ERPR designed a campaign that both engaged the financial media and built out the reputation of the company c-suite.

Our outreach centered around the company's earnings announcements, as well as news of the day, features and thought leadership opportunities that expand the profile and notoriety of the company's CEO, Chairman, CMO and CFO.

Results

Over the course of six months, ERPR established the company as a “stock to watch” and made significant headway in establishing a relationship with key financial media.
