A growing technology startup focused on the consumer finance space had secured a small but notable seed round, which included backing from a well-known corporate venture arm. The company was using the funds to expand growth and fuel additional partnerships with industry heavyweights.

Having worked with ERPR before, they enlisted our help to design and execute a timely outreach campaign that promoted this recent funding round and expanded the growth story about the brand.


Strategy:

ERPR designed an outreach campaign that centered on the funding news, and used that announcement to generate additional interest from press.

With funding news becoming a crowded space, we recommended a campaign that focused on traditional news items of the round, as well as feature-type stories that discussed the catalyst for the funding and how the company planned to use those funds.

Pursuing a range of storylines across publications that served the tech, VC and consumer finance communities, we were able to secure a “splash” of press that increased the brand awareness within key audience segments.


Results:

Over eight weeks, ERPR group secured a number of media placements.
